Friday Night Sneak Peak!

Last night I walked in Tribeza Magazine for Austin’s Style Week fashion show. It was AAAAH-MAZING!!! There were many runway participants that included Saks Fifth Avenue, Julian Gold, and numerous local boutiques such as: Billy Reid, The Garden Room, Fawn + Raven, C. Jane, Maya Star + Co Star, y&l Clothing Boutique, Wanderlust Boutique, Rare Trends, Estillo, and Valentine’s Too. All of which you can find throughout this fashion crazed city! As soon as I arrived, backstage was insane! So much energy and chaos filled the room as we started to fit our looks and go into hair and make-up…somehow we squeezed in a small rehearsal. I was a huge fan of the inspiration for the show. The looks included many of the fall trends! I couldn’t help but want every single last piece. There were colored furs, leather…EVERYTHING , jewled toned gowns, feathered head pieces and hats, menswear inspired looks, and so much more! There were at least 100 looks all together…I had 8! Thanks to Jose` Luis and his amazing team of stylist and make-up artist ( his inspiration was a cross between a modern Marie Antoinette and a chic birds nest. I know it sounds crazy, but it worked!

If you have never attended a fashion show its a “Must Do”! Its fun and a great excuse to show off your stylish side….and who doesn’t want to rub elbows with the “Who’s Who” in the fashion industry. Hope your Friday night was as fun as mine ;)!
